How to reply to posts

Please make yourself aware of the three different ways you can reply to posts on this forum:

  • Post Reply: is the main way to reply to posts. The button appears at the top and bottom left of each topic and when clicked will open up the main text editor with topic icons, fonts, sizes and smilies and ability to upload attachments etc.
  • Quick Reply: is used for replying quickly to posts. The button appears at the bottom of each topic and when clicked will open the basic text editor without the main editor's functions.
  • Quote: should only be used if you are intending to quote another member. The button appears at the top right of every post and when clicked will open the main text editor with a quotation of a previous post added to your reply.

If you find that a thread has gone off-topic you can always report posts by clicking on the exclamation mark (next to the quote button) and filling out the brief form.

About Us

The Border Regiment Forum is a small and friendly community for anyone with an interest in the British regiment throughout its long and colourful history. The forum was set up first and foremost to bring together those with an interest and passion in the Regiment; to ask questions, share stories, provide knowledge and post photos relating to the regiment during the various conflicts and peacetimes it bore witness to.
